<p>Surplombant Bagnères-de-Luchon et sur la crête frontière avec l’Espagne, la randonnée raquettes du Plan de Montmajou offre de jolis panoramas aériens et quelques sommets emblématiques des Pyrénées, le Maupas, le Crabioules, le petit et le grand Quayrat, le massif de la Maladeta et le pic de l’Aneto. Une fois au-dessus de la forêt, l’itinéraire rejoint par le GR 10 la cabane de Saunère puis remonte la Serrat de Crèspès jusqu’au sommet du Plan de Montmajou à 2081m, en peu avant d’atteindre le Pic de Bacanère que l’on aperçoit au Nord-Est. Le retour par la Cabane d’Ourdiès un peu plus au Nord permet de faire la boucle avant de revenir au village d’Artigue. Une sortie classique, fréquentée, accessible mais selon les conditions de neige, assez longue et physique.</p>

<p>Juste avant Bagnères-de-Luchon, au niveau de Juzet-de-Luchon, monter sur le versant ouest par la D46 vers Sode et poursuivre la petite route jusqu’à Artigue. Se garer au dernier virage avant le village sur le parking des randonneurs. ALtitude de départ 1220m. Il y a un mirador et une table d’orientation face au Sud.</p>

<h5>1ère partie : la cabane de Saunères et le Plan de Montmajou (2h à 2h30)</h5>
<p>La piste traverse en montant progressivement en forêt avant de sortir et de rejoindre la crête au niveau de la petite cabane de Saunères, surplombant ainsi Bagnères-de-Luchon. La vue panoramique au Sud est superbe. Là, monter en direction du Nord-Est au-dessus de la Cabane vers la crête, la suivre un peu puis passer sur le versant Nord de la Serrat de Crèspès. On voit en ligne de mire le Pic de Bacanère qui s’avance. Le sentier remonte progressivement et revient finalement sur la crête au niveau d’un grand replat. Redescendre légèrement puis attaquer la grosse bosse qui est juste là, c’est le Plan de Montmajou. Là-haut, c’est presque pla, s’avancer jusqu’au la frontière pour surplomber cette fois la vallée de Les qui mène au Val d’Aran. Spectacle au Sud, face à la Maledata et l’Aneto juste à sa gauche.</p>
<h5>2ème partie : le col des Taons de Bacanère et la cabane d’Ourdiès (1h30 à 2h)</h5>
<p>Revenir un peu en arrière et descendre plein Nord vers le col des Taons de Bacanère en direction de la crête qui rejoint le Pic de Bacanère. Au col, il y a les ruines d’une ancienne construction. Là traverser en restant à niveau pour dévaler ensuite la crête qui plonge vers l’Ouest jusqu’à la cabane d’Ourdiès plus bas. Passer sous la cabane et poursuivre la descente. On rejoint alors un sentier puis la piste du retour. Faire un virage en épingle pour repartir à l’Est sur cette piste. Ça remonte légèrement pour entrer à nouveau en forêt. La piste va alors serpenter en épousant le relief à niveau pour revenir finalement au départ de la boucle.</p>

<p>Reprendre le GR10 en descendant la piste et les grands lacets jusqu’au village d’Artigue puis au parking de départ.</p>

Surplombant Bagnères-de-Luchon et sur la crête frontière avec l’Espagne, la randonnée raquettes du Plan de Montmajou offre de jolis panoramas aériens et quelques sommets emblématiques des Pyrénées, le Maupas, le Crabioules, le petit et le grand Quayrat, le massif de la Maladeta et le pic de l’Aneto. Une fois au-dessus de la forêt, l’itinéraire rejoint par le GR 10 la cabane de Saunère puis remonte la Serrat de Crèspès jusqu’au sommet du Plan de Montmajou à 2081m, en peu avant d’atteindre le Pic de Bacanère que l’on aperçoit au Nord-Est. Le retour par la Cabane d’Ourdiès un peu plus au Nord permet de faire la boucle avant de revenir au village d’Artigue. Une sortie classique, fréquentée, accessible mais selon les conditions de neige, assez longue et physique.

Juste avant Bagnères-de-Luchon, au niveau de Juzet-de-Luchon, monter sur le versant ouest par la D46 vers Sode et poursuivre la petite route jusqu’à Artigue. Se garer au dernier virage avant le village sur le parking des randonneurs. ALtitude de départ 1220m. Il y a un mirador et une table d’orientation face au Sud.

<h5>1ère partie : la cabane de Saunères et le Plan de Montmajou (2h à 2h30)</h5>
<p>La piste traverse en montant progressivement en forêt avant de sortir et de rejoindre la crête au niveau de la petite cabane de Saunères, surplombant ainsi Bagnères-de-Luchon. La vue panoramique au Sud est superbe. Là, monter en direction du Nord-Est au-dessus de la Cabane vers la crête, la suivre un peu puis passer sur le versant Nord de la Serrat de Crèspès. On voit en ligne de mire le Pic de Bacanère qui s’avance. Le sentier remonte progressivement et revient finalement sur la crête au niveau d’un grand replat. Redescendre légèrement puis attaquer la grosse bosse qui est juste là, c’est le Plan de Montmajou. Là-haut, c’est presque pla, s’avancer jusqu’au la frontière pour surplomber cette fois la vallée de Les qui mène au Val d’Aran. Spectacle au Sud, face à la Maledata et l’Aneto juste à sa gauche.</p>
<h5>2ème partie : le col des Taons de Bacanère et la cabane d’Ourdiès (1h30 à 2h)</h5>
<p>Revenir un peu en arrière et descendre plein Nord vers le col des Taons de Bacanère en direction de la crête qui rejoint le Pic de Bacanère. Au col, il y a les ruines d’une ancienne construction. Là traverser en restant à niveau pour dévaler ensuite la crête qui plonge vers l’Ouest jusqu’à la cabane d’Ourdiès plus bas. Passer sous la cabane et poursuivre la descente. On rejoint alors un sentier puis la piste du retour. Faire un virage en épingle pour repartir à l’Est sur cette piste. Ça remonte légèrement pour entrer à nouveau en forêt. La piste va alors serpenter en épousant le relief à niveau pour revenir finalement au départ de la boucle.</p>

<p>Reprendre le GR10 en descendant la piste et les grands lacets jusqu’au village d’Artigue puis au parking de départ.</p>
